Chris and his team serve as consultants, trainers and executive coaches to some of the world’s leading companies, universities and entrepreneurial, growth-oriented businesses. Chris and the velocityHUB team offer consulting & training services that drive revenue and build leaders for some of the world’s largest companies.
Prior to velocityHUB, Chris spent nine years as the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce President & CEO, where he was responsible for the oversight of the Chamber’s strategic goals while managing the daily operations of the 600-member organization. Chris championed Nashua’s business and economic vibrancy, striving to improve the quality of life in New Hampshire’s second largest city as a great place to live and work. As a business leader in the Nashua community, Chris drove the vision and execution of over 600 community & networking events; launched a Young Professionals initiative to bring more young people into the business community; helped launch Nashua’s first-ever Education Foundation to support local teachers and students; co-chaired a major rebranding and marketing initiative for both the City of Nashua and the Chamber of Commerce; and served as the chief lobbyist & advocate in New Hampshire’s capitol on behalf of southern NH’s business community.
Prior to the Nashua Chamber, Chris spent two years as the Vice President of Government Relations & Economic Development at the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce based out of Manchester, NH. He served for four years in the New Hampshire Senate President’s office where he gained a strong understanding of New Hampshire’s government system and developed long-lasting relationships with the state’s top leaders.
Chris is an active community member, board member & speaker, serving on several boards and providing the vision & energy to a number of initiatives. Some of the organizations that Chris represents include New Hampshire StayWorkPlay, New Hampshire’s Forum on the Future, New Hampshire State Arts Council, United Way of Greater Nashua, The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation Advisory Board for Greater Nashua, Nashua Arts Commission, Veterans Count, iUGO, and the Bellwether Community Credit Union. Chris is also a member of the Rotary Club of Nashua West. Chris served six years in the US Army National Guard.
Chris has been honored for his work in the New Hampshire community and beyond. In 2005, Chris was named one of the state’s “40 Under Forty” by the New Hampshire Union Leader; he was highlighted as one of the “Top 25 Leaders for New Hampshire’s Future” by BusinessNH Magazine in 2009; and in 2012, Chris was recognized by the Nashua Telegraph as one of the 20 individuals who will shape Nashua’s future in the next 20 years. Chris is a graduate of Leadership New Hampshire’s Class of 2010, Manchester’s 2005 Leadership Class, and the first honorary member of the Leadership Greater Nashua alumni association.
Chris received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University and his Master’s Degree in International Relations from Boston University.
