PROF. STEPHEN FOSTER, MBA - was named the twelfth president of Rivier University in Nashua, NH in August 2011. She previously served at Seton Hall University, as executive vice president. Earlier she was executive vice president and treasurer at Mount St. Mary’s University in Maryland. She also has served as vice president for financial affairs at Immaculata University in Pennsylvania.
During her tenure she led the University community in developing a strategic plan “Delivering on the Promise to Transforms Hearts and Minds to Serve the World 2012-2015,” which included the development of a campus mastering plan with the implementation of “The Gateway Projects:” transformative campus landscaping plan, expanded focus on global engagement, and the amplification on on-line learning strategies. Sister Paula currently serves on the boards of the New Hampshire Catholic Charities, New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, New Hampshire College and University Council, New Hampshire Commission of Higher Education, St. Joseph Hospital and the College of Mount St. Vincent College in New York. Sister Paula earned a BA in History and Economics from Immaculata University, an MBA from Villanova University, an Ed.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, and M.A.L.S. in Catholic Studies from Georgetown University. A native of Pennsylvania, Sister Paula is a member of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Immaculata, PA. |
