I have a BA in Information Systems Management from University of MD. I have worked for the Small Business Administration for 25 plus years. Prior to coming to work for SBA, I worked for an engineering firm in Columbia, MD and then as a contactor at the FAA in the Washington, DC area. I started working in the SBIC Division of the SBA in Washington, DC as LAN Administrator, maintaining the LAN, supporting hard/software issue and a staff of about 70 employees. After about 2 years I was offered an opportunity to transfer to the NH SBA in the same role. As time when on and technology changed more and more technical support of the computer system has been taken over by the SBA HQ support team. I still remain the primary local support for the office, but my job has evolved over the year. I’m now an Economic Development Specialist involved in outreach as well as assisting small business interested in learning about government contracting and as most employees these days wear many other hats!
